Estate cleanouts are rarely just a hauling job. Usually someone has died, the family is spread across time zones, and there is a probate timeline or a close-of-escrow date pressing on everyone. We have done enough of these to know the work is as much about pacing and discretion as it is about lifting. We can clear a whole house in a day, or come back across a week while family members take what they want.

Cash in books, jewellery in coat pockets, savings bonds taped inside drawers, service medals in a sock drawer — we have found all of it. Our crews are trained to set anything that looks personal, valuable or documentary aside for the family rather than assume it is trash. If you tell us what you are hoping to find, we will keep an eye out specifically.
Donations and the estate's taxes
Charitable donations from an estate can be deductible, so we itemise what goes to donation and provide receipts from the receiving charity. If you are working with an estate attorney or accountant, tell us and we will format the documentation the way they need it.
Working around probate and escrow
We regularly coordinate with executors, probate attorneys, realtors and estate sale companies. If the property has to be broom-clean by a specific date for a listing photo shoot or close of escrow, tell us the date and we will build the schedule backwards from it.
