Furniture is the single most common thing we pick up, and it is also the thing most people underestimate. A sectional that came in through a balcony door does not always come back out the same way, and a sleeper sofa can weigh north of 250 pounds once the steel frame is in it. Our crews come with straps, dollies, door removal tools and the willingness to take a couch apart in a hallway if that is what the job needs.

We do not charge extra for stairs, elevators or long carries. That matters in Los Angeles, where a huge share of the housing stock is 1920s–1970s walk-up apartments with narrow landings and no service elevator. If a piece will not clear the turn, we will disassemble it on the spot rather than leave you with it.
What happens to it afterwards
Furniture in resale condition goes to a donation partner before it goes anywhere near a landfill — we work with Goodwill Southern California, Salvation Army and local shelters. Upholstered pieces that are torn, stained or bed-bug exposed cannot be donated under California health rules, so those get broken down and the wood, metal and foam are separated for recycling.
Mattresses are their own category
California runs a statewide mattress recycling program funded by a fee you already paid at purchase, and mattresses are banned from ordinary landfill disposal in much of the state. We take yours to a participating recycler where the steel, foam and fibre are actually reclaimed. You do not pay the recycling fee twice.
