The garage is where a decade of deferred decisions ends up. Most of the ones we clear have not fit a car in years. A typical two-car garage cleanout is a half to a full truck and takes a crew of two about ninety minutes to three hours, including the sorting. You point at what stays; everything else is gone before we leave.
What we take

What we cannot legally put in the truck
Paint, motor oil, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals, propane tanks and car batteries are household hazardous waste. No junk removal company can legally haul them in a standard truck, and any that offers to is either lying or dumping them somewhere they should not. LA, Orange and San Diego counties all run free HHW drop-off centres — we will set those items aside, tell you the nearest one, and take everything else.
How a cleanout actually runs
We walk the space with you first and agree the price before anything moves. Then we work in passes: obvious junk out first to create floor space, then the shelving and stacked storage, then a sweep-up. If you want to keep sorting as we go, that is completely fine — plenty of people find things they had forgotten about, and we are not going to rush you past a box of photographs.
Tyres, which are their own problem
California charges a per-tyre disposal fee and tracks waste tyres through a manifest system, so they are one of the few items with a genuine surcharge. It is small — a few dollars a tyre — but we would rather quote it than surprise you.
Getting a price
Free on-site quote. You only pay if you say go. We quote on site before anything is loaded, and the number does not change afterwards. Stairs, long carries, disassembly and heavy items are all included. Text a photo to 323-547-5879 and we can usually give you a number within a few minutes.
