Complete, discreet estate and probate clear-outs handled at your pace, with donation receipts for the estate.
The Junkiez provides same-day estate cleanout in La Jolla. Complete, discreet estate and probate clear-outs handled at your pace, with donation receipts for the estate.
Estate cleanouts are rarely just a hauling job. Usually someone has died, the family is spread across time zones, and there is a probate timeline or a close-of-escrow date pressing on everyone. We have done enough of these to know the work is as much about pacing and discretion as it is about lifting. We can clear a whole house in a day, or come back across a week while family members take what they want.
Estate Cleanouts in La Jolla
La Jolla is hillside and cliffside housing where the access matters more than the volume. Homes on Mount Soledad have steep switchback driveways, cliff-side properties may be reached by a long stairway from the street, and the Village has narrow streets with heavy parking pressure. Estate clear-outs are a large share of the work here.
We assess the approach before dispatch on Mount Soledad and Muirlands addresses — some driveways genuinely will not take a loaded box truck and we stage at the street instead. Village parking is difficult year-round; early mornings are considerably faster. UCSD nearby drives a student turnover cycle in June and September.
What we take
- Complete household contents, room by room
- Furniture, appliances and electronics
- Clothing, linens, books and personal effects
- Garage, attic, basement and shed contents
- Yard debris and exterior clutter
- Paperwork and documents (shredding on request)
- Anything left behind after the estate sale
We look before we lift
Cash in books, jewellery in coat pockets, savings bonds taped inside drawers, service medals in a sock drawer — we have found all of it. Our crews are trained to set anything that looks personal, valuable or documentary aside for the family rather than assume it is trash. If you tell us what you are hoping to find, we will keep an eye out specifically.
