### Why we started

Because getting rid of things in Southern California is absurdly hard for no good reason. You cannot bin a mattress. You cannot bin a television. The city will collect a couch, in three weeks, if you can drag it to the kerb and your HOA does not fine you first. Meanwhile the national franchises quote a “full truck” that turns out to be smaller than they implied, then add a stair fee.

We built the company around removing those frictions: same-day, a bigger truck, one number quoted on site, and no fee for the things other companies use to pad an invoice.

### What we actually do differently

- **12ft trucks.** Around 20% more capacity than the 10ft trucks the franchises run, at the same tier prices.

- **No access fees.** Stairs, elevators, long carries, back yards, disassembly. Included, every time.

- **Donation first.** Anything reusable goes to a charity partner before it goes anywhere near a landfill, and you get the receipt.

- **We will talk you out of it.** If your utility will pay you to take that fridge, or your city will collect that couch free, we say so.

### Where your things actually go

Reusable goods go to Goodwill Southern California, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity ReStore and local shelters. Mattresses go to recyclers in the California state programme. E-waste goes to approved facilities. Appliances with sealed systems go to recyclers doing certified refrigerant recovery. Green waste goes to composting as a separate load under California organics rules. Construction debris goes to certified processors that issue the diversion documentation permits require. What is left — genuinely the remainder — goes to landfill.

### Licensed, insured, and able to prove it

We carry full liability and workers’ compensation cover and can issue a certificate of insurance naming a building owner, HOA or management company as additional insured, usually within a day. Most commercial buildings require this before releasing a loading dock, and it is the thing that most often delays an office clear-out.
